VinBoutique’s approach to wine representation is different from the classic model. We represent wines based on Taste, Quality, Craftmanship and Value. All wines are limited production and artisanly made and a step of quality (sometimes 2 or 3) above the rest.

VinBoutique provides each client with a concierge buying experience. If it’s not on our list we’ll go get the best one we can find at the price you want. Cellar design, menu pairing and party planning are all available services as well.

Bordeaux
Bordeaux is 57 appellations, about 7,000 wine-producing châteaux, and 13,000 wine growers. Most of the grapes grown in the Bordeaux region for red wine are Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc which give vigour, tannin and good aging qualities, and Merlot which brings softness and suppleness,  the most planted grape in Bordeaux, covering 50% of the region. White wines are mostly Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.

Chateau La Guilbonnerie

Chateau La Guilbonnerie Bordeaux  Blaye 2009 Red
70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet, oak 12 months

Chateau Fantin
Harvesting is done by hand to reduce the risk of oxidation and to prevent as much damage to the grapes as possible. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel vats so that the mixing of aromas and skins is at a maximum when the juice is pumped over. It is matured in a cool cellar for 18 months before being bottled.

Chateau Fantin Bordeaux Superieur 2009 Red

Well-balanced, with  rich, fruity aromas and a lovely colour. This wine's bright red colour and spicy nose make it a fresh and elegant one, with well-developed, ripe tannins. Serve it with barbecued red meats, or cheeses such as Livarot, Pont L’Evêque and Camembert.

Champagne
Chardonnay provides freshness and elegance, Pinot Meunier brings fruitiness and aromas, Pinot Noir gives body and structure.

Vve Fourny & Fils Rose

          Côtes du Rhone
36,036 hectares and 6000 wine-growing properties produce AOC wines in the Rhône Valley. 1,574 private cellars, 96 cooperative cellars, 52 trading companies, 6 Unions of Producers. Grenache is the main grape variety for red wines, offering fruitness, warmth and body. Syrah and Mourvèdre donate a hint of spice as well as depth of color and strength to the wine enabling it to age well. Cinsault is for finesse and is ideal for making rosé and fruity first year wines. White wines, which are fresh and aromatic, are the result of blending together several grapes – such as Bourboulenc, Grenache white, Roussane, Marsanne, Clairette, and/or Viogner.
